Sponsored Pro-Staff (Professional Staff)

• Definition: A brand provides free gear, discounted products, or financial support to an angler. An angler acts as a trusted representative and extension of the company.

• Expectation: The angler uses the products and displays the company logo on their boat, jersey, or social media. Anglers test new products, give feedback to Happy Katz & Happy Katz Ladies, help at trade shows, and teach others how to use the gear. Sponsored ProStaff: Happy Katz & Happy Katz Ladies would like you to try to post at least 3 company promotions (Photos or Videos) a week to help get the company’s name out there, so others see them on social media. 

• Focus: Promote the brand and visibility of the company to spread the word about Happy Katz & Happy Katz Ladies and our growth. Expertise as an angler in marketing and product development (Give feedback on products before they are released to the public)

• Requirements: Requires you to catch fish and post photos on social media (examples: Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, or Snapchat). Along with tagging Happy Katz or Happy Katz Ladies to promote the company and its products. Staff positions require industry knowledge, public speaking (only at events or on social media), and community trust.

• Level of Involvement: Sponsored Pro-staff members are partners who help the brand grow by sharing on social media (examples: Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, or Snapchat) and tagging the company to promote Happy Katz and Happy Katz Ladies and its products. Plus, be a spokesperson for the company. This role starts with customers who receive discounted products or freebies.

What is a Pro Staff Team Member?

ProStaff Team Members are hand-selected representatives who reflect the values and vision of Happy Katz & Happy Katz Ladies.  These representatives are expected to provide content through various media to help effectively market our products.  This is not a paid position with the company but is an incentive-based position in which the Team Member is compensated with either discounted or free products. Team Members are expected to use and be passionate about the products that we market.  These positions exist solely to promote our business.

Minimum Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older

• Can effectively read, write, and verbally communicate

• Existing customer of Happy Katz & Happy Katz Ladies

• Have an established means of promoting our products and have a pretty good following:

  • YouTube Channel

  • Facebook

  • Tik Tok

  • Instagram

  • Podcast

  • Snapchat

• 100% independently finance your trips to create content.

Rules of Conduct

• 1. Promotion of other brands: The promotion of other brands of products that are similar to ours is prohibited.  If we notice it on your platforms, we will ask for it to be taken down.  Refusal to remove content will result in immediate dismissal from the ProStaff Team.  If we give you fishing rigs to use, you may not use another company’s and promote them. If you have a fishing rod from another company, that is perfectly fine; it’s not in our product listings as an example.

• 2. Be Truthful: If you went out on your latest trip and did not use our product, then don't promote our product using any images from that trip.  If people spot the little lies, they will assume everything you say is a lie.  We don't expect you to use our products exclusively, but we do expect that you will be honest in the content you provide us and your followers.

• 3. Positive Attitude: Maintaining a positive and fun image is what our brand is all about.  Team Members are expected to express positivity and fun in their content as well as interactions with other Team Members.  

• 4. Bring Ideas and Solutions: Part of being Pro-Staff is providing ideas and solutions to help grow the business based on your skills and expertise.  You are the Happy Katz & Happy Katz Ladies experts; your feedback is crucial to providing a high-quality product to our customers.  We need problem solvers!

• 5. Be a Good Human: This includes treating others with respect, being helpful when needed, and being an ambassador for the angling community.  You might not agree with someone, but you should engage them with dignity and respect for that person's point of view. 

• 6. Fish & Game Rules: Follow ALL Fish and Game Laws in your state. We will not be liable, and we don’t condone stepping out of these guidelines while you are representing Happy Katz & Happy Katz Ladies.
